Signed Vald dated 1797 (l.l.), inscribed illegibly (u.r.), and dated 1797 on the reverse

Condition:

There is a repaired 0.25 inch hole in the sitter's hair, center right. There is a two inch repaired tear at the center left and a few repaired tears and losses at the lower left. At the center right edge there is a one inch crease. The work has been lined at the edges for reinforcment
